Bizarrely have found one since typing this, shame they don't seem to have the selection as riverford, but at the tatton park food show on Sunday he seemed to think they would be delivering near me soon.

Hi I had the £13 box for 3-4 people, this week we are having the fruit and veg box.
I must say that they are very generous - we have had roasted veg for 3 nights and its been a great selection. Tried roasted pumpkin and can recommend it.
Am really looking forward to tomorrows Smile Very Happy

glad you are enjoying it sh. I found they tasted like fruit and veg used to instead of the watery stuff which all tastes the same from supermarkets.

Trinity you are a star for getting us all to eat healthily. x

Smile

I've just made brocolli and potato soup from the veg box, with also some riverford onion and some leftover Tesco cheese - yummy!

I have a carrot mountain at the moment though!

This week I had a favourites box - that's niceand easy to incorporate into cooking as it has things like peppers and mushrooms (i.e. really easy to put in spag bol type stuff!)

That was our thinking with getting one - forcing us to have veg, and to think of imaginative ways to use veg!

We always used to buy Covent Garden Soups every weekend, but there's been no need since I've learnt the art of soup making!  Just put the leftover soup I made into freezer cartons, there's enough for 6 more portions, i.e. 3 lunches for us  yay!

Hi just an update on my veg box, am still loving it and eating all my veggys. I am so glad I started to have one as I am eating more healthy food than I have for years.

We tried a veg box and liked it, but felt it was a bit too expensive for us really.   However, it has prompted me to get to the market on a weekend and buy more veg for soups and veggie meals on a more regular basis.   £10 of veg from the market fed us for the best part of last week.
