Hi there. I have asked my school to use the coverae of skills sheets which I found on here (the ones that are broken down in to year groups by subjects) which looked brilliant. The trouble is our Creative Curriculum has been somewhat scaled down since planning it last year due to hideous SATs results. Due to this, we are no longer allowed to incoporate literacy (and soem years can't do science either) in to the creative curriclum so all those skills are never going to be covered. I was thinking about going through them and cutting some out myself but I am not sure this is the best idea.
What do you think? Any adivce that coud be given would be fantastic |

We fortunately are on a 2yr rolling program because we have a mixed age class. otherwise I can see it being hard. However we sat down and looked really hard at the NC objs and saw how little we were expected to cover in many areas and that freed us up a bit. I can try to help you if you want to email me... send me your planning maybe?

| I would link as many of the others together as I could. ICT can be linked with most subjects. I've linked art with history and geography before. Having done it at KS1 and KS2 I definitely found it easier in KS1 to cover skills together. |
