| I discovered today that my last 6 children (alphabetically) all have the same marks despite the fact that one is borderline 3 and one a clearcut 5! Obviously mr/mrs marker got fed up!!!!!!! |

Can't quite believe all this- it's happened to us. Our results are completely shot- secure level 5 children coming out as 3s! Our Y6 team are in total disbelief- I told them about all this on here.
My thoughts go out to everyone- hope you them remarked for your sake and the children. Our team don't know what they're going to say to the kids. |

Am I the only school not to have them back? Got science but not Lit or Numeracy?

I hope so too, personally until I have the English back I won't get rid of the gnawing feeling in my stomach! _________________ Sheldon: What part of an inverse tangent approaching an asymptote don't you understand? |

| We have had all ours back and no real quibble with anything. Am sending a few writing papers back, purely because they are borderline by one mark and I feel they were slightly better than mark given. But, have had no papers where adding up was incorrect. In maths and science, checked borderlines of which there were only a couple, and markers were spot on each time. Overall, we are really pleased with all our results, we have improved on last year, even with some of writing being returned. I am proud of our team - children, teachers and classroom assistants! |

Pleased your results are good emadam- our school is feeling slightly comforted by the fact that a few local schools are in the same position re dreadful marking.
We've had others in local schools look at them, so impartial, and agree with our findings. It has taken our DHT and Y6 team days to get it sorted out as we have 80 in yr group and not happy with around 70 of them. |
