I'm an NQT too, for another 7 weeks!!! Currently teaching year 5/6 but going to 2 and a half days in Sept so won't be class based. Still got mixed feelings about that!!! Shocked

Hi choccat- what will you be teaching in Sept? There are a number of part timers here including people who are not class based.

I work 2.5 days and am not class based, cover PPA- it's not so bad.

Well only for the next 7 weeks. I'm teaching year 5 and i'll be teaching Year 5 next year too.

I'll be covering a Year 5/6 class one day, Year 3/4 for a morning and an afternoon covering NQT time and one afternoon as part of the carousel when all the other teachers have their PPA time. I am looking forward to my day with Year5/6 as will be teaching HA maths and Lit groups ( have been teaching LA this year and really struggled). Particularily looking forward to maths as have quite a few of my current Year 5 children working at level 5 and they really enjoy investigations and that is my forte!

I'm an NQT as of September - mixed Yr1/2.

Currently very excited but I'm sure I'll have calmed down by September 20th!! Laughing

Well all done and dusted, had final obs. Got my class again next year as class sizes have dropped and we are all moving up with ours! Now year 4/5!!!
