Child friendly APP statements/targets - where can I find the
I really don't want to have to write these myself if I can help it and thought someone was bound to know where to find these on the net!

If you know where I can find child friendly (I can) APP statements and targets, let me know!

Thank you!

I would love child-friendly APP too; I think it would help me understand what on earth it all means!

For once, Bucks have actually got something that might be useful.  An all time first.

Hope this helps.

Thank you - will keep trying htis but every time I click on it my internet crashes!  Ihave forwrded it to some colleagues in the hope they can open it - thanks for posting, much appreciated.  I couldn't tell from the web page whether the targets were child friendly or not, but fingers crossed!

Crashed the first time but opened the second. They look pretty good although they're only up to level 3. At least it's a start and might be able to work out some of the more confusing ones for L4 and 5 from there.

I was (I think...) given the child friendly writing statements up to level 5 on a course yesterday.  That might have been the thing that they said the literacy consultant was doing final checking on before posting it.  (Alternatively, the stupifying effect of a course run by the two least dynamic women in Buckinghamshire might mean that I dreamt that bit).  Anyway, it's probably worth keeping an eye on it because if it's been done up to level 3, 4 & 5 can't be far behind.

If the link keeps crashing for you, just go to the Bucks gfl site and then go into primary English. There's so little on the site it doesn't take long to find anything!!

The I can statements for writing are great. Don't suppose that anyone knows of anything similar for reading do they? That's the one I really struggle to get my head round.
