I absolutely love this. Like powerpoint, but so much better. Instead of a series of slides you make a huge poster, and zoom between your linked ideas in order. Have a go, it is ace.

I have just had a look at memiary and LOVE it - thanks for that.  Am trying to get a class set of netbooks and will add this to the list of uses to try and persuade the boss with.

How's Memiary going ebd?

It can be a pain remembering to do it every day, but I always look at the clock at 3 and think 'It's Memiary Time'

I need to make some Wordles and displays using the items that we've saved there. We haven't really looked back yet... just added items each day.

I bought a Flip camera last year and wrote a blog post about them:

http://www.mrwarner.com/2008/07/using-flip-video-in-the-classroom/

I think they're great... so much so, that since writing that post, we now have one Flip camera in every year group at school.

Regarding our server, we're RM.

We're happy with RM - we've always had their stuff so it's all working together fine.

We don't have a VLE yet though - VLEs are all online (as far as I am aware) so they should work fine together.
