MMM Friday drinks, as soon as I have had my hair cut in about an hour I am going to start with a vengeance!! Am happy to share my bottles but am sitting in the corner in the comfy chair and staying there all evening. If I fall asleep please don't wake me up.

I hate having my hair done too. It is as bad as going to the dentist as far as I'm concerned. Headache not gone completely yet. Funny how it is just down one side oh well am going to imbibe the kill cure later on.

Now I'd love to join you but I have to sit through my youngest's school prizegiving this evening.  On the upside, as she has now left school, it should be the last one I have to endure.

Hello, I am coming to join you. Have had a great day today, been out Christmas shopping, been to see the counsellor, tripped over in Gateshead Metro Station while wiping my feet so I would not slip Rolling Eyes , and seen a very strange man on the metro. He was dressed in a long black velvet robe and carrying a briefcase with an eye on it. He opened the briefcase and inside was a chalice, some black candles and a very old bible which he took out and started reading to people nearby. Very odd!

Lots of the main street in Newcastle was cordoned off and there were police everywhere.I asked a greengrocer why and he said coz the Queen is coming, and I thought he was winding me up so I said yeah whatever and walked off. On the front page of tonight's local paper is apicture of the queen meeting people in the main street Rolling Eyes I'm anti-royal so not bothered about missing her, but feel a bit stupid for not believing the stallholder Very Happy

Drinks all round tonight in celebration of my good day!

Hi all, everyone sounds pretty chirpy!  It must be that Friday feeling.
Magpie - don't think you should get the shoes in hte other thread if you can't cope with wiping your feet!  Wink  I would have been like you re the Queen though, or said something silly like "Wow, Helen Mirren!!"

Never drinks shots in real life so I'll have a couple now!  Shots all round, I think.
