That sounds like a good plan.  Hope she'll join us for a drink later.

Who mentioned rice pudding?  I love rice pudding and cinnamon.

As for me, think I may be naughty and have a glass of wine tonight.  Bottle's open if anyone wants to share.   Despite my usual 'I don't want to go back' last night, I've actually had a pretty good day and am feeling quite positive about the term ahead.

I would join you in a glass, RB, but think any sort of alcohol would completely finish me off, already struggling to stay awake.  I'll have to stick to orange juice tonight.

Here you are moving on up - I'll quit wanting to moan and down several glasses of virtual red wine.  Here is your favourite tipple, for what ever you need it = to help you get through the work, cope with the course or just sleep.  xxx

Good idea to drop in here!

I've got a nice glass Viognier for Thirsty Thursday!  A little bit left in the bottle if anyone wants some.

It's been a long week, if you ask me.  Nothing in particular but I'm glad it's Friday tomorrow.

Thanks movingonup for the drink.  I will probably regret the moaning in the morning so I'll save it! Just men - grrr.

Enjoy the nibbles.

And a grand job you are doing too.

Started typing a moan there, but have deleted it.  Don't think I am getting far with anything tonight so I'll say Good night and I hope you have a good Friday.  Hope the course is going well.  I found it intensive, but I really enjoyed it.

Doh it's empty in here, so will go back to bed. I have eaten all the cashew nuts though. Burrrp!

Gosh - you're a messy lot! Just washed the glasses, polished the bar, mopped the floor and refilled the cashew nuts. I've left the rice pudding dish to soak.

Now - a very large glass of Friday wine please - wot a s*d of a week.

Sorry you've had a bad week, cofnchoc.  I'd join you in a glass, but it's a bit early here for that.

Ahhh - what a difference dips, cheese, nibbles and wine do! I'm now feeling Friday mellow but I'm waiting for the kettle to boil to make 'suffering' OH a cocktail of a lemsip with a Madame Pearl's mucolytic powder. The joys of alterntive overseas medicine!

Glad you are mellowing out. I've come back from having flu jab and only just realised I'd left myself logged on here for a couple of hours!

The upside of cr*p weeks are the joys of the unexpected pleasures of weekends. I got a phone call a little while ago from some dearly missed ex neighbours who have moved back home to Sydney. They and the childen are back on a 'homesick' trip and we are going to go out on a junk with them tomorrow. That means more grog, great beach and an awesome seafood lunch.
Puts all the rubbishy school things into perspective!

I've left Friday drinks on the bar - enjoy!
