What to wear to my graduation?

Ok - I really do have lots of work to do but I'm super excited about graduating at the end of the month!

My robes are navy blue.

Do I wear a black skirt and white blouse
a black dress with white shirt underneath

or should I go for navy blue!?

I want to wear patent black shoes too Smile

Sugestions please Smile

Everyone at my graduation in Summer wore black trousers or skirts and a white shirt, it looked very smart - very penguin like! A few people wore dresses that stood out etc but I would go for the safe traditional white shirt and skirt/trousers combo with nice shoes.

However a nice black dress with white shirt underneath would be nice - you need a button though on your shirt to hold your sash onto - it is important you do this!!

I wouldn't go for Navy, black is more multi-use and can be worn again!

Enjoy the rewards of your hard work and feel very proud of yourself. I agrre with jp - black trousers and white blouse.

I'd always go for some colour for graduation so would suggest the black dress but with a coloured blouse and the patent shoes!

Make sure you have a few kirbigrips and safety pins with you whatever you wear so you can fasten the mortarboard to your hair and the hood to your bra!!

Think these suggestions are spot on.  Hope you have a great day.  Enjoy planning it.
