Weight loss!

Right I have had about 5 weeks off weight watchers, had my birthday so that was an excuse to eat and drink stupid amounts, had Easter, end of term, friends visiting etc, so really do need to be good!

I am going to start tomorrow morning!  I am going wedding dress trying on in 2 weeks for the first time so need to lose at least a couple of pounds!  Any tips for weight loss, obviously eat less etc etc but any nice weight loss recipes or fun exercises would be appreciated!!

I have started Rosemary Conley - so, will join you in trying to lose weight!  Are you a WW member online?  Loads of fab recipes on there!  Smile

I am on online member so will defintely try them, summer term I always find I have more time to cook each night and am more likely to eat salads etc

I am getting a Wii and Wii fit today, so will hopefully use that regularly too!  Smile

All I would really recommend is spray oil and quorn!  These two items cut down the fat in your meals soooo much.

Thanks jog_on, already use spray oil and rarely eat meat, wine is my downfall!

I hardly drink, so I should be skinny, shouldn't I?

Do you eat a lot of cheese?  How much weight do you have to lose?  I have 1/2 a stone to go before I start my next target!  Not going to have lost anything this week though Sad

current weight: 13s7
target 10 st6

I am size 16, 5'4" but would like to be a happy 14 and toned!  So the 10 st 6 is a ww target not my own, I will happy when I am happy looking in the mirror.

Although ww have given me a 5% target, it's written in my booklet that is in my car, useful!  I will be better after I go back this week on Wednesday.  What day is your weigh in?

Some cheese, but little and not very often.  I need to exercise more!

Today!!!!  Sad

I'm not hugely overweight, but still unhappy.  I've let it slip and this size isn't right for my frame.  I'm your height and your ideal weight, size 14 and really flabby!!!  Sad

Hi can I join in/check in!

Trying to get myself back to a weight I used to be but finding it oh so tricky. That cake just keeps calling.

Trying to now think of a weekly menu that is balanced and interesting, whilst still cooking for the rest of the family.

Oooh...I lost 1/2 a pound this week...which isn't a huge amount, but it's the right direction!  Smile

Well done Jog_on, it all helps and as long as you feel better for it thats the main thing!

I need to tone up a bit and to shift a bit of bingo wings and belly weight that is my spare tyre!! I swim but not that strongly, i bought an excercise DVD this weekend so may try that later. I would love to be into running and such but i have no energy, willpower or reistance to chocolate! x

I love the Rosemary Conley salsacise DVD, which is probably why I am enjoying the classes too!  Smile

Thanks Jenny x

Well done!  I actually sat down and read my weight watchers booklet today, the fast start recipes for the first week sound delicious, think that will kick start me to stick to it for the first week on only 18 points should help me!
jog_on

18 points is not a lot, is it?  I should be on 20 points (if I were doing WW, that is).

Good luck x
chatty_teacher

It's the fast start, supposed to kick start your weight loss, I should be on 24 normally!

Had pub lunch with a friend, so had small portion of sausage and mash, but drove while she had the wine so was half good!
jog_on

I am supposed to be sticking to so many calories too...hard work though, isn't it?  I am currently eating a WW Victoria sponge - actually very yummy, but I could eat the whole packet! Smile

Keep up the good work x

Been good so far today (looks at watch and says it's only 7.24am!) had ww yogurt and ww toast and marmite for breakfast.  Taking nephew to the cinema today, so plan on taking a mini picnic to save buying cinema sweets!  Having an M&S meal for £10 tonight!
jog_on

I had a blow out last night and just ate and ate and ate Sad  TOTM!  Sad
chatty_teacher

But bet it tasted nice!  Be good today, it's lovely here today but can't go out for a walk as need to clean the whole house as we have decorators in tomorrow!  Yeah, finally!

Can I join you guys in the weight loss quest? I have put some info about a calorie counting site in the lounge but this is the link. Tui has also given me a good site too for vegetarian weight watchers so I am well set up. The only way is...down!
