Storyteller book - luckless manCan anyone tell me which of the Pie Corbett Storyteller books has the version when he reads about the 'luckless man' or 'unlucky man'.Basically a man without any luck goes in search of the sun at the end of the world and meets a starving tiger, a fish with a lump on its head, a crying girl and a dying tree and the sun tells him he will have luck on the way home. He meets them again and helps them out but because he is so busy thinking about his luck he fails to pick up his rewards and eventually gets eated by the tiger! I would like to use it for my traditional tales planning but can't remember which book it was in (I borrowed someone elses the last time I did it!) |
