Saturday - what are you doing today?

Well, I'm desperately putting off levelling 60 english books  Sad
Likelihood of me getting them all done this weekend?  Shocked
S'ppose I'd better get on then, instead of browsing here....sigh.

Oooo Just remembered I need to go to the library! Hurrah - more displacement activities!  Very Happy

Going to visit my godmother after lunch with my parents - Dad has built her a new PC and needs to hand it over.

Been to the market to get some nice nosh too!
Rainbow_Bright

Got my bro and sister in law arriving this afternoon.   In the meantime, doing all the schoolwork I should have done earlier in the week..

Same here RB - just planned 2 weeks numeracy, now need to do IWB resources for it, getting there with lit, but reckon I'll get the first day or two done and complete the rest in PPA next week.
Rainbow_Bright

I've got literacy and topic mostly planned at least, so mainly numeracy to sort out and then my homework for the half term.   Need to get some order in my planning file too!

Can't quite be bothered, though.   I always find it really hard to be motivated at this time of year.   In a couple of weeks' time it'll be ok because we'll be getting into Christmas things and the time flies but the end of October and start of November are a huge struggle, I find.

Cleaning the house and cooking for a dinner party I foolishly planned for tonight - oh - and sympathising with Gorgeous 4 for failing her theory test - again!

Know that feeling, luckily I can rejig some old plannign from old school for PSHE and geog.  It's maths and lit that I need to concentrate on as they are completely different ability to my old lot.  Haven't touched guided reading yet, but if get the first week done will carry on with that next weekend.

Already been for a walk and to the butcher and charity shop and worked on our learning platform (I've just learned how to add pictures and I'm getting a bit overexcited and adding them all over the place).
Bit more work to come and then hoping to go and forage for some nice food and have quiet and pleasant evening with OH.

Catching up on a week's worth of jobs for home and school Sad, cos we were away for a week Smile.  Also collecting my new engagement ring Smile.  And having an MRI scan Sad which is worrying me slightly - can I hack the claustrophobia?
mrsbean

Having a family lunch out, then trying to do everything I haven't done this week. I have been feeling really exhausted this week and just haven't done anything Sad. The house is a mess, the planning isn't done and I feel yuk!
greyengine

Hope you're feeling better soon, Mrs Bean.
mrsbean

Thanks greyengine, I'm really tired of feeling tired! Might go to the docs next week - I'm wondering if it's hormonal!

Still feeling unwell but was up at 7.15am - the earliest ever on a Saturday for a long while. It's OH's birthday today. Off to his mum's house in a bit and then back to get ready for a Thai Fusion meal tonight at a new restaurant.
Rainbow_Bright

Hope you're feeling better later so you can enjoy the meal, CG.  I love thai but sadly the local thai restaurant has recently closed down.
greyengine

Oh dear, too many people feeling ill at the end of a holiday.  Hope you're better soon, CG, and well enough to enjoy the celebrations.

Best wishes to all those feeling under the weather, including Mr Madax.

So far, I have not been able to collect my ring because the shop has not got it in yet.
Nor have I been able to have the dreaded MRI scan bacause when I was 12 I had a close encounter with a rusty netball post and there is the very slim possibility of some rust still being in my eye.  So I have to get my eyes xrayed before I go and they could not do that today.

So quite a failed day so far - not done any work either yet - too, too tired!

(((((((wotsit)))))))))))
greyengine

That sound very frustrating, wotsit.  Perhaps you need a nice relaxing evening to build your strength up for the week ahead.
madax1

wotsit that sounds nasty. Hope you get sorted soon. Smile
