Primary magazines - recommendations? As title really. Does anyone regularly get any particular magazine and feel able to recommend one? I had a quick search, and thought both Teach Primary and Literacy Times plus looked good.
Also is the only way to get hold of these to subscribe for a set time, or could you get your local WH Smith to order in for you? Would rather not subscribe as I'm about to take a maternity cover in Y3, but who knows where I might be after easter?

I have subscribed to Junior Ed for years, it's pretty good, especially since they've added online stuff. You used to be able to buy single copies but I don't know if you can now. Also they might be changing as I had a trial copy of another magazine which I thought was no where as good.
Teach Primary is good as well, I currently get free copies of that at school although I don't know why.

I get Junior Ed which is good and you can also get it in Smiths. I wouldn't be happy if it all went online though! We get Teach primary for free at school too for some reason...?

You lucky people - none of the schools I have worked in have had magazines! Thanks for the replies, think i'm swaying towards teach primary... it will be a present from santa (how sad am I) lol.

I think Teach primary is getting better. The sample copy I had of the new look Junior/Child ed didn't inspire me at all.
