Postal stike - what postal strike!Have just received my post for today, at about the usual time for a Sat, by the usual lady, including my pay slip which always arrives by post on the last day of the month - obviously postal workers in this part of the world aren't as millitant as the CWU would like them to be!

OH and I were just discussing this last night. We have had a delivery every day of the 'strike' and something posted in Newcastle on Wednesday evening arrived on Friday morning. So if we have all had mail as usual, what are these supposed 35 million items that are undelivered??

We too seem to have had the usual amount of post - except for just one day last week.

Our post seems to be arriving pretty much as usual. I'm just worried about how much things are likely to start being delayed soon if it carries on though. I ought to change my passport and driving licence but I'm reluctant to send them off at the moment.

We had no post last Friday or today and the parcel collection office has been closed last few days. I am wondering when to post my christmas cards in case there are more strikes!

Just tell people that you posted their cards and they must be lost in the backlog!
We had no post today, don't know about the rest of the week cos we were away, but there was about what was expected on the mat.
I too need a new driving licence - mine expires within the next couple of weeks. Hopefully, it will be enough to say I have applied for it, if I have to.

Me too! Our post seems to have been arriving really quickly this week though. Should really get them changed soon because it's one of those jobs that I'll never get round to doing if I don't do it now.
