Pigeon EnglishI can thoroughly recommend this book.
It cost me a bomb - well £12.99 - in W H Smiths but sure it's cheaper on Amazon and is actually part of a deal with The Book People too. The book was so good that I don't mind that I paid full price!
Has anyone else read it? What did you think? I thought it was really powerful.
Have put a link to the website so you can see what it's all about.

Am just about to load it to my kindle - but it might have to wait in line as last time I went on Amazon I accidently (as often happens when I shop) downloaded 16 books

Oh I just read this book and hated it. It was terrible I really didn't enjoy it and I wish I never read it.

What didn't you like about it IC?
Was it the plot or the narrator or just the fact that that's life for so many?
I thought it was a great book.
I know one or two others are reading it at the moment. Will be interesting to hear what they think. Maybe it's a love it or hate it and no inbetween book.

I finished it last week and enjoyed it. It wasn't my usual kind of book but i'm glad I read it.

I loved it and have told so many people to have a read of it too. Although I did find the end a little abrupt but I guess that fits with the style iykwim.
Anyone read The Unforgotten Coat?

It just wasn't my style. I read it to the very end and didn't give up but it just wasn't for me. The style, the plot, nothing!m
