my son just won a compeition too!I just have to spread the happiness!
Following my win of the TES iphone (which I still haven't recieved  ) my brother (a keen amateur photographer) got a double page spread of his photos printed in Amateur Photographer magazine in their -readers photos section. He's since been approached by a publishing house wanting to use one of his photos in a book called 'extreme exposures' or something -cool.
Today my eldest son (17) just found out that he's a finalist in the Association of Colleges photography competition! He gets free travel and accomodation in birmingham for a night to attend the prize ceremony where the winner will be announced. Top prize is something like £500!
Sooooo proud of him!!!!

Well, my son is a bit overwhelmed now as he's just had an email from the organises of the competition asking him for background details of himself and a photo of himself as he will be appearing in the TES in an article all about the competition!!
So, watch out for it!
