Maths plansI have moved year groups this year ad i am finding it really difficult to plan maths.
What do you use to help you, is there any links or documents for support which maybe explains further etc. What do you use?

I use the Click Teaching website for inspiration and I also bought the 100 maths lesson plans for my year group which I really like too.

Thanks for links they are really useful. Jog on i forgot to ask how did data handling go with the guess who characters, what did you do?

I haven't done it yet...doing the data handling week after the holidays! Have resources all ready to go though...very exciting!

Thanks for those links jog_on. I hadn't seen them before and have got some really useful activity ideas.
I used the Guess Who characters ideas (thanks again jog_on ) for venn diagrams and Carroll diagrams. It worked really well- the kids enjoyed coming up with their own categories to sort by.

Thats a good idea using it for venn and carol, wonder if you could do any graphs with it or frequncy tables.

I suppose you could do hair/eye colour in frequency tables and then make bar charts. If you gave the characters names like in the Guess Who game you could do something related to that names beginning A-E etc or number of letters.
