maths capacity problemsI'm looking for problems like the one where you have 2 jugs with different amounts in and you have to get a certain amout in one of them. Sorry if I'm not making sense, I've had wine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Look at the three jugs problem on this site:

is that the sort of thing you mean?

Thank you!! I was actually on the nrich site looking at something else, but didn't think to look there. I blame the wine! greyengine, I think that is similar to what i meant. Seem to remember it being easier though.

If you know anyone who has professor layton for the nintendo ds, there are loads of those problems on there. Have a look on this site: http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/2008/02/puzzle078.html
It's great if you can make up puzzles like this to do practically using different sized jugs or bottles of water.

That does look good RRR but I don't have a DS. I'd forgotten about learning clip. The activities look good. Have registered again but I can't get it to work.
