Mary Bell - True Crime Books

My sister is into reading these kind of criminal books & read a book about the killer Mary Bell in a book a few months ago, i have googled it and there are quite a few options but i just wondered if anybody had read any of these books and could recomend which to buy?

Rather sinister choice of books to choose but she is a social worker so i guess it interests her!!

My mam and her family grew up very close to where Mary Bell comitted the murders, still a huge story up here. I remember my cousin telling me once that if I was naughty Mary Bell would come for me (nice cousin eh?).
If you do buy a book about her, please don't get one that she makes any profit from- I'm not saying don't read one,coz it is a fascinating story, but she makes money from the book she was involved in and I think that is wrong.
Sorry, I will get down from my soapbox now Rolling Eyes

No i couldn't agree more, thats why im not sure which to get for my sister. I defnatly wouldn't - she doesnt deserve to make money from her discipable crimes. Dont worry magpie!

It really annoys me when people like Jeffrey Archer makes money from breaking the law.
Also those football thuggery books - Cass Pennant and so on, who spent years beatring people up and then make money by writing books about it.

There should be a law!
