Life on the refridgerator doorI had a doctor's appointment this afternoon, so I took this book to read whilst I waited. I had to wait nearly 30 mins, so read the whole of this book - it's written as notes on a fridge! I had to stop myself crying in the surgery. I pretended I had hayfever. I felt so sad and moved, what a touching book. Couldn't read it again though, far too emotional.

It is a really good book, made me very sad as well, very easy to empathise with the characters. Not sure if you are meant to enjoy reading it, but am very glad I read it- would be a great book to use in comp for pshe lessons- if you could read it without crying!

It's definitely worth it! I don't like doctors (have white coat syndrome) and when I finished I felt like bursting into tears! I loved the sentiments though, and having a teenaged daughter, I can some of the comments she makes echoed in the book.

I've not heard of this one and it sounds really interesting. I'll definately look out for it.
This is why I love the library thread. There's so much more out there and I'm much more likely to read different genres if others recommend them.
