Its all the adrenaline and then the let down from the observation that never happened! Put your PJs on and relax!

We've only had a teacher day today and I'm shattered.  Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Me too!

I had to move my shopping day to a Tuesday because I was walking round ASDA in a complete daze and yawning repeatedly (you know the yawns that make your eyes run?)
nicolagraham

Decided not to go shopping- have enough to get us by for another day and OH says he will go in the morning! He's a gem! Smile

Just had a chocolate bar and it's given me a little bit of energy! I just know I'll get into bed and be wide awake! Typical eh?! Wink

Every day with you lot I feel increasingly inadequate in my home life!

Not only do I not change my curtains by the season, or have any furniture which matches, or own a dishwasher, I don't even have a regular day when I go shopping.   Nor is there a regular interval between trips to the supermarket/market - I just buy stuff when I notice I need it....

I am a failure.  Sad

Our day tends to be a Monday as it's OH's day off and he usually goes but has been too busy today to go. We sometimes go at the weekend but that's it really.

I don't change my curtains and my house is usually a tip! So....I'm not really a domestic goddess but I'd like to be! Laughing
jenny_pest

Who needs matching furniture,  dishwashers or changed curtains!!! I have a pile of washing up, furniture with throws on it to conseal mismatch and curtains that I never open.

Also, my only consitency is top up shopping on a Tuesday - So I can buy heat magazine!!!

Plus.. think of all the new & exciting things you will have in your new house!
Rainbow_Bright

I'd love to be a domestic goddess too, but working full time with an OH who runs his own business and who is home for little more than 48 hours each week makes it rather difficult!  I love cooking and baking but there's not much point when I'm on my own!

Do people still go to supermarkets? I get mine delivered on a Thursday evening. Thst way guaranteed to have something nice in Friday night!!
Rainbow_Bright

Sister in law orders from ocado but I can't get that here...  Sad

I've yet to be convinced I want to pay for asda to deliver when I have to drive there to fill my car up once every week or so anyway.

I miss the lovely big waitrose I used to shop at in Sheffield.  Sad
jenny_pest

RB - Theres a waitrose in Harrogate which if you are driving to York you may pass through!!!
