Absolutely freezing even though heating is on! Sooo cold- going to get under the duvet on the sofa!

Very cold here too... I've not really warmed up after spending several hours out at cross country today cajoling children along so they didn't cry!

This post made me think of those single big slippers which you can fit both feet in, tartan with a fur trim and found in the Sunday supplements. Has a certain appeal tonight Wink

I nearly bought new fluffy boot slippers the other day... now I've noticed how old mine are, I may have to go back and actually buy them!

How do you wear it? Is it like an apron style one - arms in and it fastens at the back or is it like a coat or is it like a sleeping bag??

I wear mine like a dressing gown and wrap the bottom around my legs like an old lady!

TBH answering the door in a slanket would be better than some of the other things I've answered the door in. No flashing the postie in that! Laughing

well it's colder here but we just put an extra jumper on as we haven't put the heating on .Youngest wotton was in his shirt sleeves........we've given up trying to fathom him out........
