mug!

grrr

Can't find my memory sticks or external hard drive. Not a clue where they should be so don't even know where to start looking. So much for working on school website this weekend. Hey ho.

Why are memory sticks called memory sticks when you can't remember where they are? Haa haa just had a thought. USB = U Silly Bu***r

yes I know that post makes no sense whatsoever but just about sums me up at the moment. No sense no feeling!!

Mug, you seem to be having a hard time at the moment.  Hope the memory stick etc turn up soon, but maybe you need to do something more self-indulgent than working on the school website this weekend.  Thinking of you and sending lots of hugs and good wishes.

Oh Dear Mug! I'm sorry but your post did make me laugh.  Laughing
Hope you find your stick or hard drive soon.

Oh dear mug! I know how you feel - I was given a CD last week, remember putting it on the side in the kitchen, but now it's disappeared! OH denies moving it. Numerous prayers to St. Anthony haven't worked!!

Perhaps it's someone trying to tell you to have a weekend to yourself - relax and enjoy. The website can wait.  Wink  x
Conker

I agree with oatcake! Website will still be there next week.

Wink Now, have you thought about where you were the last time you had the memory stick? Have you tried looking there first? Is there any mileage in us randomly guessing or suggesting where it might be? (I sound like my mother right now!!) Laughing

I lost mine ages ago and it turned up in the paper recycling bin in class. I need to back up the back up for my laptop. Wink hope you find yours soon. X

oatcake - love the reference to St Anthony. He was one of my granny's favourites. She used to write SAG on the back of envelopes - "St Anthony Guide"
Mug - hope St Anthony helps!
queenlit

We used to write SWALK!!
Conker

RR, a distant relative used to writ SAG on the back of birthday cards. As a child I thought she was being rude until my mum explained what it meant. It was the first time I had ever heard of it and until now she was the only person that I knew of who did it.

Mug, forget about remembering and have a relaxing weekend instead xx
wotton

wotsitagain

Don't mention memory sticks to me - mine was beyond cheap repair when it broke a couple of months back.  I lost so much!  I hope you find it and everything else.  (((mug!)))

This comment reminds me of one time we moved house and everyone kept saying how important it was to get the bed set up. We could not find the bed legs/wheels.  One of the removers said that they would probably turn up somewhere ridiculous like the fridge.  Guess where we found them?!
kathemy

QL, funny, I've always linked SWALK with Valentines cards as that is what I always wrote on the back them   Laughing
redredrobin

Can't imagine my granny using SWALK somehow!

Gap in the market here......someone needs to come up with a 'responding memory stick' so that when you shout 'memory stick' the stick will emit a loud and irritating noise!

Mug - you really ought to complain to Hawk because if he'd made his wonderbra you'd know exactly where your memory stick was!
Hope it turns up.
mug!

Hee hee Come on Hawk. get this bra made so we can all buy one.
Will take advive and look for them all later. But what can I do instead?

Mug, I have found a perfect activity to help you to relax at weekends instead of being on the school web.  Wink Will post it to you today or tomorrow...
