Not easy reading I agree, but I enjoyed Waterland and Last Orders. But its so long ago that I can't remember too much detail!
( Yay! Appropriate that I make my 4000th post in the library - as books are so special to me!)

Loved Waterland and Shuttlecock but didn't like Last Orders as much. I think in general he's a love him or hate him author. It's a long time since I read his books so it might be time for a re-read.
