familiar settings Y3Just can't get inspired....what do you do?

We did Horrid Henry for ours. We did lots of character work and had big pictures of Henry and Peter on the learning wall with thought and speech bubbles around them. This included hot seating too.
We built up to an alternative naughty adventure for HH - one I remember was him letting the plug out of the swimming pool. It was a year ago so I may have forgotten some bits.
HH stories can be downloaded too which they enjoyed listening to.

I also did HH last year with Yr2 and the kids loved it. We also watched some HH and also went to the theatre to see the touring production of it and discussed visual element

Yes am thinking HH, the lack of inspiration is more to do with me not wanting to do any work....
