electricity year 2/3Hi,
I'm doing this topic after half term and would like to finish off by making those pictures with a circuit on the back and a light on the front. (For example, making Rudolph's nose light up.)
I've never done it before but can imagine how to do it. I was just wondering if anyone had any templates for good pictures for the front and/ or any tips for making it work well/ which resources to buy.
Thank you!

Similar to Rudolph's nose, we did clown faces as linked to our circus topic

Did you just use a normal AA battery and bulb?

Cant remember what batteries we use, but they arent AA. They are the squarish ones with the metal prongs on the top. Sorry not much help

I've done a similar thing using a cardboard Christmas tree cut out with a hole in the top for the bulb.
We use the standard class packs from GLS or similar. 3.5V bulb with 2xAA batteries in a battery pack.

Brilliant - sounds quite simple then. I want them to be able to take home their finished product, but I guess it doesn't matter if they don't have battery holders - may be use those bigger batteries rather than two smaller ones....
