Cupcakes

Just getting into making these at the moment. Made some with jam in the middle and pink icing last week. This week made chocolate ones and made up my own nutella buttercream recipe - OH very fond of those even though he doesn't like nuts.
I'm really rubbish at icing though - I'd love to make really beautiful cakes so I suppose I just have to keep practising. Any tips?
