Oooh...am going to bake a cake and shape it into a football shirt.  Like the one below...but not as good Sad

What do you think?  has anyone made one like this before?

i used to make shaped birthday cakes for my kids when they were little. Usually i woukld make 2 cakes and one would get cut up to make the shape around the square one. draw a plan on paper and it should be easy to get the shirt shape. The icing in your picture appears to be rolledout. i haven't made that sort but you should be able to get a recipe online. I think ti si called fondant icing. It can be difficult to get strong colours so you may need to get proper icing colours from a specialty shop. The candles look interesting. I have never seen any like that!. The board would have green icing spread on it. Have fun!

The candles are there, they even have a football shirt pan but sadly sold out.
You could use a rectangular pan

scroll down and their is a diagram to show how to cut one out.
Hope it all goes well. What a really nice thing to do.

Thank you very much both of you!  Smile

The shirt will be white, so the colour thing shouldn't be a major problem.

Thanks again xxx
