Bullace

I've just re-identified what I assumed was a damson tree in my garden as a bullace tree (I think). They are small round mini plums. The skin is a bit sharp, but the flesh is yummy. Thought I'd use some in pies and jam as well as eating as they are. Maybe some flavoured vodka too.
Does anyone else have these lovely fruit? if so, what do you do with them?

Yes, I have these and have used them in jam, chutney, bullace gin, wine and just grazing as I walk round.

Bullace wine - mmm, sounds good. Have always been a bit daunted by making wine, but might give it a go. My husband is really keen to have a go at doing some cider this year. hope it turns out ok.
