Analysing Data & Tracking ProgressWe have started putting end of term assessments into SIMS but I'm still worried about the 'so what?' questions for interventions, groups, etc. Does anyone have an example of a proforma that each teacher can fill in at the end of term analysing their data, identifying support groups & the progress they have made, etc. before I re-invent the wheel? Thank you.

We do that on our pupil progress forms to discuss in the meetings. Our data report then pulls together whole-school analysis.

Thank you. Do you answer specific questions & give a measured outcome or is it sometimes enough to say improved confidence or I think that they will be a solid 2a in another 6 weeks, etc.? And does each teacher bring their own list with their knowledge of interventions in their class?

In whole class info section people put notes about children who've made good or insufficient progress - can be as you've said. We also have an intervention section where they comment on children who have received intervention. During the meeting we decide what intervention will run the following term based on our discussion.

That really helps. I've just started going round in circles. We've got our SIP coming in to question us next week & I'm trying to look at all our data & spot the gaps before he does & get my answers ready!

Always useful to have schools who've struggled to turn to! Lindy Lou has forms for everything coming out of SM, we have them because we were an ISP school!

I think we were a forgotten about quiet corner, but we have a hunch that our luck will change soon & someone will come calling!
