I'm just thinking the same- gonna have a cool shower before I get into bed. Always feel horrible when it's this hot.

Hope everyone gets a good sleep!

I hate this weather...don't like it like this at all.  Give me Autumn any day!  Without having to go back to school that is!

We've found our mega fan so it's on the landing trying to cool bedrooms down. Not slept properly for about three weeks now so am feeling a bit worn down and weary. If I fall asleep in Manchester on Saturday, you'll know why...

For all those suffering in the heat over the past few days ..........

Next time move to the east coast!!!
Since Sunday we've had the fog horn blasting day and night non stop, until today that is - today we've finally got sun!!!

Since Sunday not only have we had the fog horn going non stop, but we've had a continual sea fret all day long and no reception (as usual in summer) on the TV. Have failed to get anything dry on the washing line.....

Monday evening we had a power cut for an hour which set off everyone's house alarms. One alarm refused to stop so it howled (along with the fog horn) from 8.30 pm until someone went up a ladder at 8.30 am. Luckily it was cool enough to shut all the windows  Rolling Eyes

TODAY it's sunny and warm and I'm in here briefly hiding from the sun before going back out and sunning myself  Very Happy

Having imparted the advice to move to the east coast when it's too hot........I'm now off before we lose the sun!

Far too hot here, fan blowing and windows open but really bad. I think it will be a late night tonight. I can never sleep when it is too hot.
