here's ones I use/plan on using

I can't recommend Twitter highly enough as a fabulous place to share and exchange ideas!! Most of these have come from very clever people that I 'follow' on there.

Sometimes there seems to be just too much!

I have seen most of these before, bookmarked them - and then forgotten to use them!!

Thanks for the reminders!

Aw - am feeling a bit jealous!  I love trying out new tec stuff, but am now in YR/Y1 and I just cannot do all this with them.  Storing up ideas for if I am moved next year though.

Great thread!

Meant to use Scratch last year but never got around to it. I want to use voicethread and etherpad but need to think of ways of using them that really fit what we're doing.

Scratch is great, folks.
Ii showed my kids 2 years ago and put a link onto their wikkisite. They downloaded it at home. The next day a girl complained that it was downloaded at home but she didn't get a go because her Dad was on it all night!!!

Right now I feel about 100 and a real technophobe. Which of these would be worth looking at for Y2?

Google Earth is okay for Year 2 - link it to Barnaby Bear or other Geog stuff. Links easily to other subjects too.

I use pivot stick figure, which is free to download, for basic Year 2 animation projects.

Other stuff I would recommend (not necessarily for Year 2): lego digital designer, Tux Paint and Block cad lego.
