Do people use these?  I feel I should be a bit more organised and this would be useful.  What format do you use?

Thanks xx

We have planners from Pirongs, not a weekly overview though actually I sometimes think I should do one to see the week in one go, just seems repetitive!

We have to fill this in each week although personally I don't find it any use.

Thanks for sharing - it's quite simple isn't it?  Do you fill it in each week even if it's not working for you?

at my last school we just did an overview grid of objectives for MTP then planned detailed lessons on a grid weekly (we always planned in pairs).

last year at my current school i did similar but found i was just cutting and pasting from detailed medium term plans, so have just started filling in which lesson from which plan i am doing on my timetable instead now and putting copies plans in the heads file.

i did find overview grid with all subjects for the week useful, but not useful enough when it was just cutting, pasting and using up printing ink/paper for the sake of it!!

We have to have a LTP and a MTP as well as a weekly plan. It is A4 with foundation titles and we add LO and simple teaching sequence. Problem in we also have to put on our LGFL site planning  for each subject and what we do weekly. So I personally can't see the point of the planning sheet as it is already there.

I use a weekly overview for myself and find it more usefull than any other planning. If i had my way that would be all i would use other than medium term plans (which I do in great detail)

here's an example of mine. (no one else uses these, as far as I know)
