Spoke to HT yesterday and explained how I'm feeling.  He said he knows that what I'm doing this year is incredibly difficult and he can understand how I feel, but that nothing is being done maliciously (which I said I agreed with and knew anyway).  Basically, he said I need to continue being strong and get on with it, really.

Don't necessarily feel much better about it...but sure that things will improve soon.

xxx

Thanks for all the concern and kind messages xxx

Pleased you spoke to your HT- it's important that people know how you are feeling.

I really hope that things will get better for you. xxx

Well done jog_on. I agree it is important to speak out. School leaders need to know the impact of work situations - they can't be mind readers. Take care x

That is good news jog on. Perhaps now you will be less stressed as you know your head thinks you are doing an incredibly hard job well.

Good for you for saying how you feel. Hopefully things will start to improve for you, even if it's only slowly slowly.

Its a step in the right direction for you, at least school are aware of the situation now. All you can do is carry on and know you have plenty of people on here who are ready and willing to listen to you when you want to offload.

It's a good idea to tell your HT. Although it may not make a difference now, it will make them more aware in the long run.

At least you have spoken up. Later on, no one can come back to you and say they were unaware!
