.......in this room is The Invisible Mouse.  Shocked It scuttled across the floor and I tried to head it off at the pass with a tray and hubholder tried to catch it in a waste paper basket....but the little varmint gave us the slip. Its just like Chicken Run in here at the moment as hubholder searches for it with a very powerful torch. Mousey Mousey...we're coming to get you!  Laughing

Oh I know it sounds irrational but I would be too scared to try and catch it I think. I know they're harmless but I always get twitchy around animals that can move that quickly!!

Good luck!

Are you planning on killing it SH? I thought you were an animal lover! We have had a mouse for ages but have yet to catch little blighter, have tried everything in a humane trap from cheese to chocolate, peanut butter to bread and jam and no luck. It has chewed through a cool bag and several other bags, I have never seen it but it makes regular appearnances to OH.

All of which reminds me of the old saying about the wisdom of not always rushing:

'It may be the Early Bird that catches the worm, but it's the second mouse to the trap that gets to eat the cheese.'

Phew - I had been feeling guilty about our murderous attitude towards rats (sorry pm again, but then yours are not wild), although I concede they look cute when playing.

Good luck with mousey today SH.  OH and I were standing in the utility room last night watching a little mouse sitting on our garden table nibbling some breadcrumbs.  He was very cute - strangely I wouldn't have liked him quite so much if he had been our side of the door!
