Embarassed I forgot how explicit Edna O'Brien can be. Just finished a collection of her short stories today! Shocked  Embarassed

From her early work - a trilogy -The Country Girls, Girl with Green Eyes, Married Girls - its a long time ago since I read these, but I remember really enjoying them.
From her more recent work I have enjoyed Wild Decembers and Down by the River.

She is always very earthy and sensual!
