but I am now making the official announcement (get me, thinking I am so important!) coz I am fed up with my LA not making it official yet.
I have resigned form my job, no longer teaching, due to ill health. I do hope to go back to teaching coz I love it and miss it, but for now I am an unemployed lady of leisure! I have been off sick for a year on Tuesday and know I made the right decision even if I had my doubts at times.
I will completely understand if you want me to leave the forum, but hope not coz I will miss you all too much!
Thank you so much for all the support and advice you all gave me while I was trying to decide what to do- it meant a lot xx

magpie nic don't you dare leave just because you are not in a job doesn't mean you are not a teacher. You have great ideas and advice for everyone so you are needed.

magpie, you have a wealth of information to share with everyone. Once a teacher, always a teacher!
(and if you go, I'll have to go with you!)
Enjoy having some time to yourself - being healthy is so important for you and your family.

Embarassed Thank you all. I am going to change my avatar I think to mark my new beginning- will see what I can find.

And if anyone has any work hassles, I really recommend ACAS- they have just given me some great advice to get my resignation made official and my LA have had to agree to do it by the end of this week!
