This is the best news I have heard in ages.
Now that he is backing them, we just need George Bush and Louis Walsh to come out in support and they should be gone by Christmas... _________________ Stacey for Queen...

We can but dream!
Quite surprised Gordon is thinking about SATs; thought he might be more concerned with the recession, Afghanistan etc |

Things have been far better in Wales since we got rid of the SATs. But then we don't have a lot of things that are in the English curriculum. _________________ This is either madness... or brilliance.
It's remarkable how often those two traits coincide.

There's nothing more I can say to that!!
Onomatopaeic he is indeed. Such a shame he feels the need to live up to his name with every utterance he makes. |

They always seem pretty critical on Casualty. Every week a doctor says "SATs falling!"
Personally, I think they are vital. Teachers need a rod to be beaten by. We need to have that stress and anxiety to keep our blood pressure up, too low and we might fall over. We also need to worry that we might have said or done too much to help and therefore lose our jobs. And just what would we do with all the freed up cupboard space when we get rid of the past papers? _________________ I wish I were relaxing on holiday! |

| Right so SATs are one of the vital signs of life! Now i understand; there was i thinking that i could chuck out all the SATs stuff someday. I will keep it so that I don't cease to exist! |
