I am getting logged out when I leave the computer for a while, but leaving a forum window open! Can this get changed?

No I am kept logged in all the time even when I switch the computer off and then come back to it.

I am guessing it is a setting on your computer then which is set to not storing cookies. Therefore your pc sees it as a new website every time you visit it.

I have just accidentally deleted ALL cookies instead of ones from this site, in the hope that re-allowing might allow me to stay loggeed in all the time.
