Officially the best ever flapjack recipe:

6ox butter/marg
4 generous tablespoons golden syrup
12 oz porridge oats
4 oz light brown muscovado sugar

Melt the butter, sugar and syrup together then add the porridge oats.  Bake at 180, Gas Mark 4 for 20 mins, until golden brown.  You can add raisins too.

Don't be too accurate with the weights, just chuck it in until it looks right!!!

Missed the end of this when I was on my hols and just thought about it!  Glad it worked out for you!  I've got some that my Mum made actually, might have to have some with a cuppa this afternoon. Smile
