Confused

Been on the NUT payscales website and checked my salary now that I've gone up to UPS3.  It says that the salary should be £35,121 but at the top of my payslip it says that my salary is £30, 148.  Any ideas?  I even calculated both with and without my TLR and both figures come nowhere near the £35k.

Confused?  Yes, that's usually me!  (Probably some really really simple answer...) Embarassed

Can't really help except to say that pay slips can often be wrong. My LA is always getting tem wrong, particularly when circumstances change.

Thanks Smallholder.  Do you mean that the informaiton on my payslip might be incorrect or that I am getting paid the wrong amount?  It seems a lot of difference!  Might have to dig out my old payslips!

Well my payslips have been wrong before, ie. the LA has given me the wrong amount of money. I would never assume that they always get things right - I would always check. There is a telephone number on my payslip to ring if there are any queries. Hope you mange to get it sorted.

It was a very easy answer but still confusing!

The low figure on my payslip is M6 payment.  The UPS3 and TLR are added on to that figure to give the £35k salary.  See...easy answer!  Wink
