This week, the BBC Radio Four programme 'Book Club' was an interview and discussion with this author about his first book 'Dissolution' and the others in this tudor detective series featuring the hunchback Matthew Shardlake. Catch it on 'Listen Again' if you like these books as it was well worth listening to. I know some of you are fans like me. He also said that the BBC is looking at developing a TV series of these books although they are at a very early stage.

I missed them giving away "Sovereign" free in York. They're having a big city read this summer, turning York into a big book club and having lots of events around the book.

I'll borrow it from my friend who managed to get a free one then! CJ Sansom is doing a talk about it and Philippa Gregory is doing one about The Other Boleyn Girl. York has gone tudors mad!
