People are starting to add avatars to their posts with mixed reponses. Do we want them or shall we do without them? Up to you?

I haven't used one but have seen other with them but haven't found it has slowed anything down.

doesn't slow it dwn but noticed that a short reply then gets a lot of blank space to allow for the avatar

Well I like having an avatar - and can't see the problem with scrolling - it hardly makes the posts huge.
